My journey in travel began over 30 years ago as a YTS trainee. After a career detour through banking and education, I’ve come full circle, joining the Olive Lounge Travel team in September 2025.

From the sun-soaked Mediterranean sands of Greece and Portugal to the vibrant streets of New York (a city that totally stole my heart!), I’ve explored the globe, and I love nothing more than sharing that first-hand knowledge with you.



My Top 3 Mediterranean Gems

1. Malta: The Best of Both Worlds If you want history without sacrificing the sun, Malta is my go-to. It’s compact, incredibly easy to get around, and Valletta is one of the most stunning capital cities in Europe. It’s perfect for those who want a "city break" feel right by the sea.

2. Crete, Greece: For the Food & the Views Out of all the Greek islands, Crete holds a special place in my heart. The hospitality is unmatched, and the beaches look like they belong in the Caribbean. Whether you want a quiet taverna or a bustling harbor, it never disappoints.

3. The Algarve, Portugal: My Beach Fave You can’t beat the Algarve for a classic beach holiday. The dramatic cliffs and golden sands are iconic, and there’s a resort for everyone, whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a fun-filled family getaway.
